Muriel's birthday

Dale and Patty rented a pontoon boat from Schmidt's Landing, and we were out on the lake for two hours. We ate dinner there on the boat: fried chicken, potato salad, yellow watermelon and cantalope, garden tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and arugula. Afterward we had cake at Muriel's. It was fun!

lots and lots of tomatoes

Still working at Warren's; this is the kitchen, my favorite room. Very 1950's.

I've been making gooseberry jam.

Ah, summer....

This is the beginning of my blog!
